Welcome to Walls Elementary School

Welcome to Walls Elementary School! It is my privilege to serve as the principal of a school community dedicated to providing an outstanding educational experience for our students in kindergarten through fifth grade. At Walls Elementary, we believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported, challenged, and inspired each day. Our goal is to create a learning environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally while developing the skills, confidence, and character they need for future success.

I have been fortunate to serve as a school administrator for more than 20 years, and I continue to be inspired by the incredible impact that educators, families, and communities can have on the lives of children. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to creating schools where students are known, relationships are valued, and every child is provided with meaningful opportunities to reach their full potential.

As an educator and as a parent of five adult children, I understand the importance of partnering with families to support children’s growth and development. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, and exploring new adventures with family and friends. I am also a passionate roller coaster enthusiast and enjoy visiting amusement parks whenever I have the opportunity. My love of travel and adventure has taken me to 49 of the 50 United States, experiences that have broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation for the diverse people, places, and experiences that make our country special. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the importance of curiosity, perseverance, teamwork, and lifelong learning.

At Walls Elementary, we strive to provide a balance between rigorous academics and a developmentally appropriate, child-centered approach to learning. We believe students should be challenged to achieve at high levels while also having the opportunity to learn through meaningful experiences, collaboration, creativity, and exploration. Our dedicated staff works each day to meet students where they are, build upon their strengths, and provide the support and encouragement needed for continued growth. We are committed to helping every student discover their unique strengths and develop a lifelong love of learning.

The safety and well-being of our students and staff is always our highest priority. We are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and secure environment where every child can focus on learning and every family can feel confident knowing their child is cared for. Through thoughtful planning, strong relationships, and collaboration with our school community, we work every day to ensure Walls Elementary remains a place where students feel safe, respected, and ready to learn.
